Midas

I had an outstanding experience at Midas on Sam Rittenberg Blvd. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with professionalism and respect. A special thank you to Terry, the service writer, who was incredibly helpful, honest, and straightforward throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain what my vehicle actually needed, answered all of my questions without any pressure, and made sure I understood my options. It's not often you find someone who genuinely puts the customer's best interests first. The work was completed on time, communication was excellent, and the entire team made the experience stress-free. If you're looking for an auto repair shop you can trust, I highly recommend this Midas location. I'll definitely be coming back for future service.

They were very honest about my situation. The job was done right on time, the entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable about my vehicle unlike the people at River’s where my jeep was purchased from. I would keep on recommending Midas for a job well done.

Dozens of men have looked at my tires over the past 5 years, but it took a woman to tell me what the rubbing sound under my car was. My tire was shredded, so Terry, a woman (brilliant, I might add) looked at it to make sure that she had ordered the correct replacement. The front tires on my Lexus are smaller than the back, but the back tires had been put on the front. One tire got shredded rubbing when I turned because the space was too small. Terry was astonished! Thanks, Terry, for making my ride safe and soundless. Midas, hire more women. That will also solve the mansplaining issue you pointed out in your ads.

I won't go anywhere else but Midas from now on. Everyone is super friendly, professional, and they are upfront. If for some reason they can't get you in and out of the door they have a loaner vehicle to keep you going. Terry at the front desk especially is the nicest lady and truly seems to care about her customers. Definitely recommend the location on Sam Rittenburg if you want the best team in Charleston working on your vehicle.

This is the worst place you can take to fix your car. The lady in the front is nasty and talks to you with no respect, They gave me the price for my car over the phone and told me I could pick it up and when I got there they raised it by 350 dollars and gave me an excuse that made no sense about taxes and when I broke it down and asked her to explain it to me it still didn't add up and after paying she threw the change to me and said here since you need it so bad. I was the only Black woman in there and she did not talk to any of the other non-black customers the way she spoke with me and even walked away from me because I asked could she not be so nasty and it's not about needing the money it's the point I was given a price. Then replies no its fine I can tell you need it again to me with a smirk. and that was just in regards to repairing my water heater, They also did an oil change on my car and even reported it to car fax breaking my oil pan and now the screw is messed up and I have to replace the whole oil pan when my dad went to speak with the front desk they lied and said they never did the oil change and didn't report anything to Carfax even though I have the report showing
